Bucket.
Manual Release System
Zembil releases the water inside the bucket through a system triggered by electric power. If a malfunction occurs in the electrical system, the inability to release the water from the bucket can pose a risk to flight safety. As a solution to this situation, Zembil is equipped with a Manual Release System controlled by the operator. Thanks to the Manual Release System, the mission is not interrupted, and the aircraft can safely continue its operation. Additionally, the specially illuminated Control Head Mechanism, which is compatible with night flights, enhances visibility by illuminating the bucket shell and safe and effective intervention in fires during nighttime operations.
Night Flight Compatible Control Box
The control box receives power from a 28V DC electrical connector from the aircraft. It includes components such as the main power switch, warning indicator lights, a 10A fuse, discharge button, information display, operator discharge button, and counter reset button. Additionally, it is equipped with a special lighting system to increase the safety of operators during night operations. This allows both the pilot and crew to clearly see and operate all controls during night flights, ensuring uninterrupted mission performance.
The hub and spoke arms are designed to prevent the bucket from tearing or deforming due to water force, keep the bucket shell open, ensure it folds during transportation, and hold it in the required position during operation as part of the Instant Deployment System (IDS). Additionally, this system functions as a suspension mechanism during flight, ensuring stability and balance.
Data Recording with Desktop Software
Zembil continuously records critical operational data-such as the number of water releases, its altitude, location, and time-throughout the flight via an SD card to support efficient firefighting missions. This data can be accessed in detail through the desktop software using a username and password login.
Water Capacity
Zembil has a water-carrying capacity of up to 2,500 liters, which can be adjusted to 70%, 80%, or 90% by using the Water Capacity Adjustment Belt depending on operational needs. This flexibility enhances operational efficiency by ensuring compatibility with different helicopters.
Breakaway Plug Connector
It ensures the safe disconnection of the electrical cable leading to the control mechanism from the control box inside the cabin in case the Zembil system is jettisoned from the helicopter in an emergency. This prevents damage to the cabin interior and protects the personnel.
Zembil
Accessories
Zembil Accessories are designed to enhance operational efficiency and ease of use. Durable, reliable, and practical solutions that support and strengthen your firefighting operations.
Portable Power Supply
It ensures the safe disconnection of the electrical cable leading to the control mechanism from the control box inside the cabin in case the Zembil system is jettisoned from the helicopter in an emergency. This prevents damage to the cabin interior and protects the personnel.
Location Detect Buoy
Emergency Location Detection Buoy supplies aid in locating a lost Zembil bucket shell by deploying automatically and guiding the crew, with some models featuring flashing lights. It can be repacked for future use after retrieval.
Pulverize (Fire) Sock
The Pulverize (Fire) Sock disperses and breaks up water droplets, expanding the surface area of the water. This allows for a wider and more effective coverage, making it ideal for targeting and extinguishing larger areas during operations.
Mobility Sled and Transportation Box
Mobility Sled is designed for effortless transport with its wheeled structure and single-person usability. Its adjustable body enables smooth lifting and lowering for enhanced versatility. Transportation Box is designed for the secure transport and more efficient storage of essential parts. The box contains the bucket shell, longline, repair kit, technical user manual, control box, and control head mechanism. This ensures that all the necessary materials for operations are stored in an organized and easily accessible manner.
Zembil Aerial Firefighting Bucket delivers up to 2,500 liters of water capacity for effective airborne firefighting. It offers adjustable load options at 70%, 80%, and 90% thanks to its water-capacity control strap. Its durable structure ensures reliable performance in demanding operations.
Zembil’s hub-and-spoke arm system minimizes fuselage deformation risk and provides stable opening and carrying during flight. It records critical mission data—such as discharged water amount, altitude, and location—via an SD card. All logs can be reviewed through a compatible desktop software.
As a locally engineered solution, Zembil marks a strong step toward global expansion with its introduction at IDEF 2025. The system has already initiated its export process for international markets. Its performance and efficiency position it as a competitive aerial firefighting tool worldwide.
Long Line
The longline is encased in a flame-retardant, abrasion-resistant protective sleeve specifically designed to facilitate maintenance and ensure operational safety under extreme conditions. Additionally, this sleeve securely contains the electrical cable and the steel wire of the manual release system.
